Girl's Family and Quilting the Great Outdoors!
My design studio is literally the outdoors from Wisconsin
to Minnesota to the mountains of Montana. My heart sings when
I'm in the mountains, loves the lakes in Minnesota, and the
smell of the pines in Northern Wisconsin from summer through
winter. These places reflect my family's adventurous spirit
for the outdoors. We love to hike, bike, canoe, ski, kayak,
fish, and camp.
The above activities influence my ideas for designing Northwoods
and nature themed fabric lines which then create pieced and
appliquéd quilts from our families personal experiences.
